Liftoff Launches in Brazil
Today, we are very excited to announce that Liftoff will be expanding into Latin America with our first São Paulo based hire, Antonio Affonseca. With deep industry experience, Antonio will be leading our growth efforts and working with publishers such as Rappi, MercadoPago, and Wildlife (formerly TFG), while expanding Liftoff’s footprint throughout the region.
Brazilians average over three hours/day on their smartphones, making them the 5th largest country for smartphone usage. Brazil also ranks 3rd for year-over-year growth, market share growth, and total downloads in both the iOS App Store and Google Play store according to new App Annie report. Given this impressive data, it should come as no surprise that Liftoff has decided to expand into Brazil.

In particular, Antonio is eager to help marketers scale their user acquisition and retargeting efforts by leveraging programmatic media buying to optimize for ROI and post-install actions, like making an in-app purchase, connecting a bank account, or booking a trip.
