Inc. Magazine Ranks Liftoff on Best Workplaces 2017 List

Liftoff is honored to rank as one of the highest-scoring businesses with standout employee engagement on Inc. Magazine’s Best Places to Work list. The list will be featured in this month’s issue of Inc. magazine.

The list, an annual ranking in its second year, is the result of a wide-ranging and comprehensive measurement of private American companies who have created exceptional workplaces through vibrant cultures, deep employee engagement, and stellar benefits. Out of thousands of applicants, Inc. singled out only 233 winning companies.

“We are excited to be included in Inc.’s Best Workplaces List and I commend everyone on our team for bringing our incredible culture to life every day,” said Mark Ellis, Liftoff’s CEO. “We believe that our people are our most valuable assets and we continually strive to provide a supportive environment that allows Liftoffers to stretch and be the best versions of themselves.”

While researching the entries, Inc. found that distinct themes developed around strong company cultures, employees’ aptitude to see past flashy giveaways, free lunches and beer, and the positive outcome of employees feeling valued at their organization.

Liftoff’s unique culture, often documented in our Facebook album, is one of openness, humility, transparency, all-inclusiveness, understanding, and support. Employees do enjoy what’s become commonplace for Silicon Valley startups: catered lunches, health benefits, massages, team offsites, stocked fridges, etc. But Liftoff takes it a step further with benefits like unlimited vacation, commuter benefits, 401k matching (at a startup?!), stock options, annual ski trips, annual stipends for professional development, monthly stipends for health benefits, and much more.

Again, we are honored to be named on the Inc. Best Workplaces list for 2017… oh yeah, and we’re hiring.
